Welcome to Lime Culture and William's Jumbo Scrabble Mummies

I didn't get home in time yesterday to do an entry on here, but I'll try to make up for it by doing two entries today.

So, yesterday began with a journey with Tony and Kelly to McMaster so that Tony could purchase his MacPass and see his residence, which was nice, cozy, and really hot. It was Welcome Day, so there were tonnes of people at the campus.

After that, we went to Lime Ridge, where I spent far too much money. Almost no clothing appealed to me unless it was black, so I guess mood does affect what you like on a particular day. I bought two sweaters, a shirt, and a pair of pants, and I also picked up volume 2 of 52, which I'll read after I finish the two Batman graphic novels that Jimmy lent me. We went to the pet shop, and I took another picture of a lizard because they're cool.

Once we got back to Brantford, we went to Coffee Culture. I kind of enjoy that place more than William's, but the Strawberry Chai I got wasn't that great. The chicken grill I got was good though. My number was 44, which is supposed to be unlucky because how four is pronounced in Mandarin/Cantonese is similar to the word for die/death. That might explain why I didn't like the drink.

We walked around for a bit downtown before we went to Jumbo Video, which is funny because we only went there to play the crane game to see if Tony could get the giant Marvin the Martian. We ended up with a tiny Yosemite Sam and Tasmanian Devil.

We went to Kelly's house and played a game of Scrabble. I laughed when Kelly attempted to spell "toning", but she only had "tonig". I get bursts of emotions sometimes.

I dropped Tony off and picked up Laura next, and we went to William's for a bit. I met Laura way back in grade 9. Her locker was two away from mine actually, but we didn't really become friends until last year I think. I'm glad we did though. She signed my year book too, which is shown in the picture.

We picked up Tony again afterwards and went to see The Mummy 3. I thought it was alright, but Egyptian mummies are definitely better. The action was pretty good, but the plot was kind of bad. The inclusion of the yetis was extremely random, and some of the character's actions didn't make any sense. It also bothers me when they replace actors/actresses for the same character when everyone else is played by the same person.
